Dr. Todd Levine, MD

Neurologist, Founder of Neuro Concierge

Dr. Todd Levine grew up in Maryland as one of seven children born to two educators who instilled in him a deep curiosity and a respect for learning. That blend of heart and intellect guided him to prestigious Haverford College, where he double majored in English and Chemistry—an early sign of his dual passion for science and storytelling.

From there, he attended Duke Medical School, earning the prestigious Stead Scholarship for groundbreaking research that led to his first patent. His work at Duke helped pioneer the understanding of autoimmune neuropathy and resulted in the cloning of the gene responsible—an early glimpse of the impact Dr. Levine’s impressive career would have on Neurology.

After completing his Internal Medicine internship at Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Dr. Levine trained in Neurology at Washington University and continued as a Fellow specializing in diseases of the nerve and muscle. When he relocated to Phoenix nearly three decades ago, he set out to build more than just a medical practice—he built a community. Over the past 28 years, Dr. Levine has been consistently recognized as one of Phoenix’s Top Doctors over 20 times, while leading an active successful clinical practice focused on providing patients with elite care.

Beyond the clinic, he founded two groundbreaking diagnostic laboratories—Corinthian Reference Labs and CND Life Sciences—where he pioneered the use of skin biopsies to diagnose neurological diseases. This year, CND Life Sciences was awarded an FDA Breakthrough Device Designation for its discovery that enables skin biopsies to aid in the diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease, dementia with Lewy bodies, multiple system atrophy, and other related disorders.

Dr. Levine’s research career spans more than 200 peer-reviewed publications, four book chapters, and the widely popular patient guide Small Nerves, Big Problems, now in its second edition.

Yet, Dr. Levine’s story is not just one of scientific achievement—it’s also profoundly personal. In 2001, he faced serious illness and endured multiple relapses over the years that followed. These experiences reshaped his view of medicine, giving him rare insight into what it means to be “on the other side of the doctor’s desk.” He learned firsthand how vital it is for patients to be seen not as diseases, but as people.

That perspective ultimately inspired the creation of Neuro Concierge—a model of care built on empathy, access, and innovation. Dr. Levine believes that true healing requires a holistic approach: blending advanced diagnostics and cutting-edge therapies with attention to exercise, nutrition, emotional well-being, and mindset.

Through Neuro Concierge, Dr. Levine brings together everything he’s learned—as a scientist, a healer, and a patient—to help his patients live healthier, fuller, and more hopeful lives.
